Made with ripe Espadín agave harvested from the Cortés family farm. These plants will take at least 6 years to mature and can grow to 100kg.
The nose is reminiscent of the roasted agaves at the palenque – bright, sweet and caramel. Light smoke gives way to ripe citrus fruits and pineapple.
Our Espadín is unaged and bottled at 45%. The freshness of the batch means it stands up very well in a cocktail. See our cocktail page for some inspiration: the Perro Picante, our take on a spicy margarita, goes particularly well.
